An adventure game is any game genre where the player takes on a role of a character in a story. Adventure games require puzzle-solving and problem-solving. Because of these elements, some games can take a lot of time to complete. However, at the same time, they can be rewarding for the time and effort spent in the game.

Generally, action games tend to be for the teenage to adult age group because of the time required to accomplish sections of the game. Below are examples of subgenre action games.
