A beginner or novice is any person who has started to learn a new skill or trait. For example, someone who has never used a computer before is a beginner when they start using a computer. Computer Hope is a site that is considered a beginner's guide to computers and computer-related topics.

When is someone not considered a computer beginner?

As someone spends more time with a computer, they'll begin to learn how to navigate and use a computer. Once someone has learned enough not to need much or any assistance, they're no longer considered a beginner. However, even the most experienced computer user becomes a beginner again when trying to learn a new program or anything on a computer with no prior experience.
